[Composed solely of natural, unbleached color]
Rooted in our brand concept of "editing, not designing," this approach is a deliberate choice as pattern makers.
The natural, unbleached color evokes the raw canvas used in toile (pronounced "twal"), the preliminary version of a garment used for fitting before final sewing. By incorporating the essence of toile, we meticulously craft each piece.
[Features a grid print on the inside of the body]
By applying the grid print at the fabric stage before cutting, we can check the direction of the grain, known as the "grainline." While it may seem like an unnecessary detail, this practice is crucial in ensuring the quality of the product and underpins the core values of our brand.

Our commitment to 'not designing' honors the transformative power of vintage items that make reality possible.
All of our sewing is entrusted to sewing factories that we, who work on-site, deeply trust. We assign each item to a factory that we believe can best realize its unique features. Because we reference the virtues of the past, it can be challenging to convey our dedication, but it is precisely this approach that allows us to produce products of assured quality. This capability stems from long-established relationships of trust in the field and is one of FUKUBORI's strengths.
